"We're in for a rough year mate" said Ron, tapping Harry on the shoulder and smiling sheepishly.
"I agree, watch yourself Harry" Said Hermione, peering over the top of her book. The door to the train compartment slid open to reveal the figure of Ginny Weasley.
"Hi Ron, hi Hermione" her eyes rested on Harry and she frowned. A arm snaked around her waste and behind her appeared the body of Draco Malfoy.
"Babe why are you talking to these people?" he asked kissing her neck gently. Ron stood up quickly, pointing his wand at Draco.
"Get off my sister you slim ball!" Both Ginny and Draco laughed, but it wasn't Ginny's usual soft caring laugh, it was cruel and cold.
"Come on Draco, lets leave my brother and his mud blood girlfriend" Ginny spat and disappeared slamming the compartment door, only for it to be opened a moment later to reveal a rather dazed looking Luna Lovegood.
"Am i seeing things, or are Ginny and Draco an item?" she asked, sitting down beside a rather shocked and heart broken Harry. She rested her hand on his and squeezed it gently, smiling warmly. Ron and Hermione exchanged glances.
But love problems were the last thing Harry needed to worry about.
"Minerva! Please be resonable!" Snapped a rather annoyed professor Flitwick.
"How can i? The chamber of secrets has reopened, Dumbledores gone and i don't even know if Fluffy can guard that peice of Voldermorts soul anymore! The poor things gone crazy!" She slumbed down in Dumbledore's old chair. She hadn't changed his office in the slightest, it was as if Dumbledore himself was still here. Professor Sprout rested a comforting hand on Minerva's shoulder.
"We'll cope" she looked round "We all need to keep a very close eye on Potter, Weasley and Granger, they can't get themselves near Voldermort this year, he's to powerful" The teachers nodded and left to go prepare another year at Hogwarts, as if Dumbledore was still alive. Professor Sprout squeezed Mcgonagall's shoulder before leaving aswell.
"Harry!" Luna laughed as Harry tickled her, she kicked and rolled around trying to get him off her. "Stop it" she laughed again and moved once more, which left her and Harry in a very awkward position. Luna bit her lip gently and glanced away.
Harry was leaning over Luna, one leg each side of hers, his hands rested on her hips. The sun was high in the sky and a light breeze blew around them.
Ever since Ginny and Draco got together Luna and Harry were almost inseperable, Luna losing her best friend and Harry losing his lover.
Harry laughed nervously and pressed his lips against Luna's...........
Danger lurks round every corner for the trio this year, will you join them? Or fight against them with all your might? This is life
